Give Your Furniture Some Love

Wood is an organic material that naturally reacts to its surroundings over time. Therefore, it’s important to show your furniture some love through regular maintenance to ensure it lasts for generations.

Below are our care recommendations to guide you on how to maintain your furniture and thereby extend its lifespan.

Cleaning

Regularly wipe your furniture with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust particles. Avoid using coarse or abrasive materials as these may scratch the surface.

Avoid Moisture

Keep your furniture away from direct sunlight and damp areas as this can cause damage such as fading, warping, or mold. Use coasters under glasses and vases to protect the surface from stains and damage.

Oil Treatment

To prolong the lifespan of your furniture, we recommend oiling it up to two to three times a year, or as needed. Apply the oil evenly across the surface and allow it to penetrate the wood before gently wiping off any excess oil.

Scratches and Stains

Minor scratches can often be repaired by gently sanding the surface with fine sandpaper and then applying an appropriate wood care product. Remove stains as soon as possible with a mild soap solution and a damp cloth, avoiding rubbing too hard to prevent further damage to the surface.
